Hapkido

Hapkido, "The Way of Harmonious Movement or Power" is a traditional Korean martial art that emphasizes flowing circular movements, joint-locking, pressure-point manipulation and throwing.  Hapkido practitioners attempt to use an attacker's weight and momentum against them.  Therefore, Hapkido is a powerful system of self-defense for smaller individuals.  Hapkido actually has more kicks than Tae Kwon Do, and incorporates striking with the hands, elbows, feet, knees and head.  The tumbling, falling  and rolling we do in Hapkido are valuable life skills that enhance the flexibility and durability of our students.

Adult Hapkido class is Monday through Friday, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
